Data deletion instructions

You can delete your Coachmark account and all data associated with it at any time. Deletion is complete and permanent. This page explains both ways to do it.

Option 1: delete from inside the app

Go to Settings, choose Delete my account, and confirm. This option ships with the account settings screen later in our current build phase. Until it is live, use option 2 below and we will handle it the same day when possible.

Option 2: delete by email

Send an email to coach@tapin.coachfrom the address on your account with the subject line "Delete my account". No explanation needed. We will confirm receipt, complete the deletion, and send you a confirmation code.

What gets deleted

  • Your authentication record (email and hashed password).
  • Your profile and coaching settings.
  • Your onboarding interview transcript and answers.
  • Every version of your 90-day plan.
  • All daily briefs, tasks, check-ins, and streak history.
  • Email delivery logs tied to your account.
  • If you connected a Meta ad account: the encrypted access token, all stored ad snapshots, and all lead records.

The only thing we keep is a deletion confirmation record with your confirmation code, so we can prove the deletion happened if you or a regulator ever asks.

If you connected Facebook or Instagram

Removing Coachmark from your Facebook settings (Settings and privacy, Business integrations) also triggers our deletion callback. We mark your Meta connection revoked and delete the stored token. To remove the rest of your coaching data too, use either option above.

Timing

Deletions complete within 30 days, and in practice usually within one business day. Your confirmation code is your proof. Keep it if you want to verify the deletion status later.
